Dear Sir
My Directors instruct me to request you to have the furze at the water jump removed as they propose preparing the centre of the track for foot ball immediately. Your prompt attention will oblige.
W.P. Jones, sec. & manager.

In reply to a question the Secretary informed the meeting that the Greyhound Coy did not pay the amount that Coy had expended on the jumps although the former agreed to pay the amount monthly. It was decided that the Secretary should write to Mr. Jones requesting pay rent of this amount before Saturday 24th June & that a committee consisting of the Chairman, Messrs. E. J. Clarke & W. Desmond & the Secretary should visit the grounds & report to the next meeting. Mr. O’Sullivan  proposed  &  Mr. Desmond seconded that the Secretary should see Mr. Exham  & ask  him that in the event of the Committee removing this jump and replacing it with others next year are the Grey Hound Coy responsible for the wages est. under the license.

The Secretary was further instructed to inform the Grey Hound Coy that they were not to proceed with the work of making a football pitch until they had received the consent of the committee.
