Meeting of the Dog Show Committee  held on Thursday ,17th  December,1931.

Mr. A.H.  Shortt  in the chair also present , Mrs. Fielding, Miss Patten, and Dr  A.F.M. Mullane.

 To definitely  allot No. 1 army band  to the Cork  Summer  Show at present  as the  application  is considered  rather premature. The function will however  be kept  in  mind and  will get  priority  on those dates over all other engagements  except state  functions.

 The President  then pointed  out to  Mr.  Crowley  that only  procedure of meeting  could adopt would be  to censure  the Committee  for engaging  the band.

Mr. Crowley  said that  he would not propose a vote  of censure  on the Committee  and after  some further  discussion  he withdraw  the amendment.

 On the motion of Mr. F.G. Hayes  seconded by  Mr. P. Crowley  the following cheques  were passed:-

Eustace & Coy £72-10-2                                         Grays £6-8-6     Mc. Grath £3=19=6

Telephone £7-15-1                                            Wages 30-0-0                Salary£22-10-0

Miss Vangham £5-16-8                                                     Petty Cash £20-0-0

On the motion  of Mr.  J. O’Sullivan  seconded by  Mr. N. Hayes   a vote  of  condolence  was passed to  Mr.  P.J. O’Connell  on the  death of his father  Mr. P. O’Connell. A similar  vote was  passed  to  Col. Hawkes  on the  death of his wife.

 The minutes of the last meeting were read and signed.

 A letter  was read   from Mr. H. Scott  stating  that he will  be pleased to accept  the Committee’s invitation to act as   all round  Judge  for the  inclusive fee of  8 guineas,  and the Secretary  was given  power  to close with Mr. Sam  Graham ,who was asked  to judge Terriers  if his  fee  did not  exceed  8 guineas.
