Meeting of the Dog Show Committee held on Thursday, 5th March, 1931.

Mr. L. Dobbin, in the chair, also present Mrs. O’Connor, Mrs. Fielding, Miss Patten, Dr. A.F.M. Mullane and Mr. A.H. Shortt.

Meeting of the Show Committee held Saturday ,7th March, 1931.

Mr. A. Morrison in the chair also present. Messrs.  T. O’Sullivan, D. O’Connor, A.J. Moore, J. Daly V.S. and M. Twomey

The minutes of the last meeting were read and signed.

The Secretary stated that Mr. Wm. Roberts Mr. E.J. Clarke & Mr. W. Desmond were unable to attend the meeting.

Mr. T. O’Sullivan was congratulated by the meeting on the Splendid Prices he realized for his bulls at the late Spring Show sale for which he returned thanks.

The Secretary reported that the total sale amounted to £7.700 being the highest yet recorded by the Socy. This was considered satisfactory. It was decided to adjourn consideration of the agenda to a meeting to be held on the 14th March.

Letters  were read from Mr. Sam Warburton  and Mr. H. Hogarth, consenting to act as Judges at the forthcoming Summer Show. This was considered  satisfactory. It was decided to have  the same classification  as last year ,provided guarantees  were forthcoming , and the Secretary was instructed to write to all those who guaranteed   classes last year ,asking them if they would renew same for this year, and stating that we would be pleased to put an any class ,provided it was guaranteed. The Sec. was  further instructed  to write  to Mrs. Rank, asking her to judge the Children’s Cass.
