 Meeting of Finance Committee  held on  Saturday.,  25th April, 1931. The President  Capt. T.A. Clarke  in the chair also present  Messrs.  W. Desmond, E.J. Clarke, T. O’Sullivan, W. Roberts, J. Barrett, A.H. Moore,  John Henderson  and A. Morrison . Hon, Secretary.

And the President , Capt. Clarke promised to speak to him in connection  with same  when in  Dublin  during the coming week.

 The recommendation  made by  the General Committee  at their  last meeting that the pole jump  be  transferred to  the site of  the Gate jump  in connection  with the jumping  competition at the forthcoming  Summer Show  was approved  of .

The minutes if the last  meeting  were read and signed .

 In connection  with the payment  of 10/-  subscriptions made  by certain  members  of the  Society ,who  in the  opinion  of a good  many,  did not come within  the meaning  of the Rules  referring  to subscriptions,  and it was  decided that the Secretary  should get list  of the valuation of the  members  of the  Society . In the  meantime, he was instructed not to accept  10/- subscriptions from professional men and to bring the matter up  at a future  meeting  of the Finance  Committee , with a view to  their  making  certain  recommendations  to the general  Committee.

 The Secretary stated   he had  received  an application  from  the Southern  Greyhound  & Sports  Co.  Ltd. For the use of the  jumping enclosure  offer a  football  match  on the 8th  May, after some discussion  it was decided  to grant permission for the 3rd  but not  to give  permission  for the  10th May, as the  Committee  were of opinion  it was getting  too near  the  Show, and the Ground  may not be fit after  a football  match. The Secretary  was further directed to write  to the  Greyhound  Co.  And ask  them  if some  of their  Directors  could not  meet  members  of the Committee  at the Grounds on  Saturday,2nd  prox.  At 12 : 15 p.m.. On the motion  of  Mr.  A.H. Moore,  seconded by  Mr.  T. O’Sullivan.
