Representation: Comprising members from across Munster, including elected representatives, past presidents, civic leaders, academic representatives, and co-opted members from various counties.

Governance: Electing officers such as the President, Vice-Chairperson, Honorary Treasurer, and Honorary Secretary annually to manage the Society's affairs.

Oversight: Ensuring the Society's events and initiatives, such as the Cork Summer Show, align with its mission.

Membership and Elections: Managing elections and appointments to maintain a diverse and active council, with specific criteria for attendance and contributions.

The Council ensures continuity and representation while promoting agricultural development and community engagement in Munster.
