The subcommittee is responsible for:
- Organizing a variety of competitions in arts, crafts, and cookery, including categories such as painting, photography, sculpture, knitting, baking, and preserves.
- Coordinating with exhibitors, judges, and participants to ensure smooth operations and a rewarding experience for all involved.
- Promoting local artisans and highlighting the diverse talent found within the Cork community.
- Engaging visitors by providing workshops, demonstrations, and interactive activities that celebrate the world of arts, crafts, and cooking.
- Encouraging the appreciation of traditional and contemporary craftsmanship, as well as fostering a love for creative expression.
