Bovine /Ovine Sub Committee

The Bovine and Ovine Subcommittee plays a crucial role in organising and overseeing the livestock competitions at the Cork Summer Show. This includes managing the Bovine (Cattle) and Ovine (Sheep) competitions, where top-quality animals are showcased and judged based on their conformation, health, and overall appearance.

The subcommittee is responsible for:

  • Organizing the scheduling and logistics of the Bovine and Ovine competitions.
  • Setting the guidelines and ensuring strict adherence to all animal welfare standards.
  • Coordinating with breeders, exhibitors, and judges to ensure smooth operations.
  • Promoting the best practices in livestock breeding and farming.
