Canine Subcommittee

The Canine Subcommittee is an integral part of the Cork Summer Show, dedicated to organizing and managing the highly anticipated dog shows and canine competitions. From pedigree showcases to fun family-friendly events, the subcommittee ensures a seamless and exciting experience for dog owners, exhibitors, and spectators alike.

The subcommittee is responsible for:

  • Planning and organizing the dog show categories, including breed standards, agility trials, and obedience tests.
  • Coordinating with judges, exhibitors, and participants to ensure the event runs smoothly.
  • Promoting responsible dog ownership and showcasing the diverse range of dog breeds.
  • Managing entries, ensuring animal welfare standards are met, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all participants.
  • Engaging the local community through dog-related activities, from training tips to family events.
