The Development of the Society Subcommittee is focused on the long-term growth, sustainability, and evolution of the Munster Agricultural Society and its events. This subcommittee works strategically to enhance the society’s impact within the community, ensure its future success, and support the development of new opportunities and initiatives that align with the society’s values.
The subcommittee is responsible for:
- Identifying and implementing strategies to foster the growth and development of the Munster Agricultural Society.
- Planning and supporting the expansion of events such as the Cork Summer Show, ensuring they remain relevant and engaging for future generations.
- Securing funding, sponsorships, and partnerships to support the society’s ongoing activities and development.
- Overseeing the development and improvement of the society’s infrastructure, including showgrounds and community facilities.
- Promoting the society’s mission and values to increase awareness and participation within the local and regional community.
- Supporting new projects and ideas that can advance the society’s objectives in agriculture, industry, and science.
