The Poultry Subcommittee is dedicated to organizing and overseeing the poultry competitions at the Cork Summer Show. This subcommittee plays a crucial role in promoting the health, breeding, and exhibition of poultry, including chickens, ducks, turkeys, and other birds. It offers a platform for poultry enthusiasts to showcase their prized birds and engage with the wider community.

The subcommittee is responsible for:

• Organizing the poultry competitions, including judging standards, exhibition categories, and entry management.
• Promoting the best practices in poultry breeding, animal care, and exhibition.
• Coordinating with exhibitors, judges, and participants to ensure the smooth operation of the poultry section.
• Raising awareness about the importance of poultry farming and breeding within the local agricultural community.
• Providing educational resources and engaging with visitors to promote a deeper understanding of poultry care and management.
