Stated that the meeting had been canceled for the proposed considering letter recieved from the Board of National Education, Dublin, with reference to Mr J Corroll that agricultural Soct. to report on Winter Dairying.
Read letter of 16th, from Board of National Education stating that the committee had the society application under consideration and that the only period during which Mr Carroll could be free would be from 20th Dec. to 7th January. The committee had no funds which could be paid of Mr Carrolls expenses, which should therefore be paid by the Agricultural Society if they decided toa avoid of Mr Carrolls advice.
Mr French mentioned that he had an interview with Mr Carroll and the expenses of sending him would be £25 and suggested that the society should put £15 toward the sum required.
The subject having been fully discussed it was finally decided to send Mr Carroll to make the suggested inquiries and it was on the proposal of Mr A.H Smith, seconded by Mr Kergie decided that the society should put £10 toward the expenses Mr French undertaking to collect the £15.
