Mr. Beamish having being proposed and seconded at a former meeting was unanimously elected a member of the society.
Read letter from professor Hart stating that Mr. Harrington had not yet completed the analysis of the pumpkin seeds.
The action of the sub-committee in rejecting the proposal of the sub-committee of Poulty was confirmed.
Mr. A.Ferguson brought forward for the consideration of society his motion with reference to holding a Bull and Stallion show in the Spring after some discussion it was proposed by Mr. Beamish and seconded by Mr. Ferguson that the meeting be postponed for a fortnight and that the secretary meant to confer with Misses March with reference to holding the show in connection with their annual Auction.
Mr. Beamish gave notice that at the next meeting he would move that Proffesor Hart be re-elected see analsyt for the coming year.
The committee then approved until Saturday 17th May.
