Mr. J.Busteed having been proposed by Mr. Jason Bird and seconded by Mr J Reid at a forming meeting was unanimously elected member of the society.
Read letters of 16th and 17th May from Mr.H. Borrows & Mr. Barden with reference to Mr. Bolders after some discussion it was unanimously decided that as Mr Wallis's prescription had not fulfilled the conditions of the 1st Prize which he won at societies show in 1886 and should have gone to Mr Bolders.
Mr. J.Donovon proposed that Mr.Meavys who was very commended should get 2nd prize it was deicded that as Mr Meavy had made no proper application to the committee they not could not consider the matter.
Read letter from the member of the Royal Dublin Society stating that the funds were not at the disposal if the council did not permit of their subs forwarding to the show. /
The resolution of the sub-committee with reference to Mr. Bryne's report on Technical Education was adopted.
The following members were proposed of the society, Mr Henry, proposed by Mr Barry, Mr. R.Good, proposed by L.A Beamish, J. Forbes proposed by James Ahern seconded Mr. Warren.
