The minutes of the last meeting were read and signed.
The following gentlemen were proposed as members of the society Mr. Joseph Norten, Ballymartle, proposed by Mr. Roberto, sec. by Mr. Newman, Mr. Hayes proposed by Mr. Roberts sec. by Mr. R Newman, John Roche, Brownmills, proposed by Mr. Roberts sec. by Mr. Newman.
Read letter from Royal Dublin Society declining to give any assistance towards the Bull show, but stating that they had under their consideration a scheme which had for its object the assistance of Local societies in all parts of Ireland, it was accordingly decided on the motion of Mr. Meade sec. by Mr. Foster not to hold a Spring Show.
Read letter from Donovon.
The secretary was desired to call on Professor Hart to finish his report for the year 1888 which was to be considered at the next meeting of the committee as was the advisability of retiring his services.
On the motion of Mr. Meade seconded by Mr. Roberts it was decided that the next committee meeting be held on the 1st Saturday in February at which meeting the show committee would be appointed.
