The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
Read letters from Mr. Healy and Mr. Love acknowledging receipt of resolution with reference to the collection by the post office of the value of goods by parcels post and promising the society any assistance in their power if it could be shown that the move would be for the benefit of the community of Cork.
It was proposed by Mr. Meade and seconded by Mr. McKensie and unanimously adopted that a copy of the resolution be forwarded to the chamber of commerce asking for their opinion on it.
Read letter from Professor Hart with reference to the cure of potato blight work which on the motion of Mr. Meade seconded by Mr. Ferguson it was decided to refer to the Dairy School Committee.
In the absence of a reply from the Royal Dublin Society, further consideration of the Spring Show was again developed.
