Meeting of the General Committee dated September 1st, 1888, with the President in the Chair

The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
Mr. Hurley, Kinsale, Cork was proposed by Mr. James McKensie and seconded by Mr. W.R Meade as a member of the society.
The show announced that Mr. Seymour had shown his Herd Book from which it appeared that his heifer ''finny'' was calved on the 16th January 1886, it was accordingly decided that Mr. Seymour should be awarded the prize.
On the motion of Mr. Meade seconded by Col. Sullivan, Mr. Heard was unanimously elected in room of Mr. Hare retired.
In the absence of the member gentlemen who were reported to wait on the Royal Dublin Society the consideration of the Spring show was further adjourned until the next monthly meeting.
