The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
The following gentlemen having been proposed and seconded at a former meeting of the society were elected members Mr. Knowles, Mr. Payne, Mr. Peter, Mr. John O'Mahony, Mr. Dan, and Mr. George.
Mr. James and Howe, Kilbritain, were proposed by Mr. A.J Foster and seconded by Mr. Meade as members of the society.
Read letter from Mr. Malony with reference to the absence of his sire ''Avondale'' from the show on the seconde day after some discussion it was decided that he should forfeit his deposit fee.
Read letter from Mr. Donovon requesting that his notice of motion re. Veterinary care should be adjourned until next meeting whilst was agreed to.
The secretary announced that he had written to the Royal Dublin Society with reference to adhering to the sub-district for premium stallions from Mallow to Bandon and also as to the Royal Society having the expense of the show which it was proposed to hold but had not received a reply to either of his queries to be directed to advertise the show on learning from the Royal Society the secretary announced that the cost of the show as far as ascertained was £1063.8.7.
