Secretary read letter from secretary of Corn Exchange stating that the consideration of societys application for the use of the yard to hold the show in, and had been postponed for a fortnight, meanwhile, he requested to be furnished with the names of the gentlemen under whose management the show was to be held.
After some discussion, it was on the motion of Mr. Meade and seconded by Sir. George Lothurst, resolved ''that in reply to the letter just read Mr. Hall, directed to send a list of the members of the committee at the time of the last show and also to inform the trustees that the committee were in the habit of appointing a sub-committee to manage the show and that the names of these appointed last year be appointed informing them at the same time that the committee for this year was not yet appointed, Mr. Hall also to request that a definite answer be given before 22nd.
Read letter from Mr. James Byrne, suggesting that the society should make some slight conclusion in order to induce the trustees to give the use of the yard.
