The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
Mr. Jermyn having been proposed and seconded at a former meeting of the society was elected member.
Read letter from Mr. Shaw regretting that he could not read a paper on mice at the October meeting as he would be at home, the secretary was accordingly directed to write and ask him to name his own day.
Mr. W.R Meade Hon Sec put forward his resignation which the committee unanimously refused to accept, it was decided however on the motion of Mr. W.A Gallaway, that Mr. W.H Beamish should be appointed assistant Hon Sec.
On the motion of Capt. Woodley and seconded by Mr. W Roberts it was decided that the following be added to the rules, that any Horse that did not parade when ordered to do so by the stewards should lose his prize money and deposit fee.
