The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
The following gentlemen having been proposed and seconded at a former meeting were elected members Mr. Leslie, Mr. Lee, Mr Arthur Brown.
The following were proposed for membership, Mr. J. O'Brien, Lohart Castle, Co. Cork, proposed by Sir. George Lothurst, seconded by Capt. Newenham, R. Heard, G. Heard, seconded by Capt. New., Mr. Harley, proposed by Capt Newenham, seconded by J. Byrne, J. Donovon, proposed by J. Bird, seconded by W. Roberts, and Mr. O' Donovon, proposed by G. Heard, seconded by Capt. Newenham.
Mr. Garde moved that the society should take some action or after prizes for the best treatment of cattle, after some discussion, it was decided that the secretary should write to the Veterinary Department of Dublin Castle with reference to the matter.
Mr. James Byrne, handed in the cup which he proposed offering for competition at the show, on the motion of Mr. Meade, seconded by Mr. Reed a vote of thanks was unanimously passed to him.
