The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
The prize list as arranged by the show committee came forward for adoption, when it was decided on the motion of Mr. R.H Beamish, seconded by Col. Shuldhum, to offer £2 in prizes for donkeys, provided the society for prevention of cruelty to animals gave £3.
Read letter from the Veterinary Department Dublin Castle asking for further information with reference to the sheep scab, Mr. Byrne informed the committee that he had written to the clerk of the Mallin, he had informed him that 142 cases had reported to him for the year since 25th April 1891.
On the motion of Col. Shuldhum, seconded by Capt. Newenham, a vote of condolence with the relatives of the late Mr. A.J Foster was unanimously passed.
The secretary announced that he had received permission from the trustees to open an office at the corn exchange to receive entries.
Mr. Wise and Major General Watt having been proposed and seconded at a former meeting of the society were elected members.
The following were proposed for members, Mr. Leddie, proposed by W. Roberts, seconded by Capt. Woodley, Mr. Lee, proposed by J. Reed, seconded by R. Good, Mr. Brown, Macroom, proposed by J.Bird, seconded by Capt. Woodley.
