The following gentlemen were proposed as members of the society, Jamie W Harley, St. Lukes, proposed by Capt. Newenham, seconded by J. Ahern, William Bateman, proposed by W. Roberts, seconded by J. Mr. Bass, made statement, recommending the society to form interest into a limited liability society in order to raise the money required for the erection of the new building, after his sentence had been discussed for sometime, it was decided on the motion of Captain Newenham, to form a sub-committee to confer with Misses Bass and Atkins as to the best means of raising the money. The committee is to consist of the following who would have power to add to their number.
