The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
Secretary read letter from the Royal Dublin Society, stating that Cork was the only County in Ireland in which they were unable to procure a local committee to carry the scheme as regards the proper inspection of registered sires, after some discussion, the secretary was directed to write in reply and point out that this state of things was not in any way attributable to this society as when they were appealed to we at once proposed a committee to carry out all necessary amendments.
The following gentlemen having been proposed at a former meeting of the society were elected members B. Fitzgerald, S. Logan, Mr. Burke, George Lothurst.
The following gentlemen were proposed and seconded for membership, Richard Beamish, Hare Hill Bandon, proposed by S.L Heard, seconded by W.A Beamish, J. Reece proposed by A.G Warren, seconded by Capt. Newenham.
