The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
Mr. R Beamish and J. Reece having been proposed at a former meeting of the society were elected members.

Read letter from the Royal Dublin Society stating that this society was not in anyway to blame for their failure to form a local committee, to carry out the scheme as to Registered stallions.
Read letter from the Districts Board thanking the society for their suggestion as to the encouragement of early vegetable growing in their district and stating that as the season was soo advanced nothing could be done this year but that they would take the matter up next year, if brought under their notice at the proper time.
Mr. L.A Beamish announced that there were not more than two entries for any of the prizes offered by the society for early fruit and vegetables and that according to the rules, the prizes should be withheld, he asked the committee to wave the condition and award the prizes in the two sections in which there was competition, which it was decided to fo Mr. Byrne appointed judge.
The secretary announced that the following gentlemen had consulted to act as judges, H. Doran, H. Thompson, Major Dent, R. Bulkilig, Lord Coventry, A. Shaw, A. Dunlop, H. Dudding, Mr. Tindall, Mr. Mausell.
Mr. Byrne proposed and Mr. Montgomery seconded the following resolution which was unanimously adopted, ''In as much as the present, adopted by the government for preventing the spread of sheep scab has proved to be a failure the disease being as prevalent as ever in this country and as that disease has been completely stamped out of the Colones including New Zealand by the Veterinary Authorities there we respectfully call on the government now that the season has come round to take the necessary steps to rid the country of the pest once and for all.
General Davies asked what price the committee would charge for the use of their new premises, the matter was referred to a sub-committee of the following to report on J. Bird, L.A Beamish, J. Byrne, Sir George Lothurst, Capt. Newenham, S. French, R.A Beamish.
