Meeting of the  General Committee  held Saturday ,16th April, 1932  , Mr. N. Hayes  in the chair, also present, Major T.P. Morgan, Messrs. T.G. Hayes, J. O’Regan, M. Twomey,  J.S. Henderson, T. O’Sullivan, D. Ross, P.J. Good, P.J. O’Connell, E. O’Grady, T. McGrath, E.J. Clarke, J. Daly, V.s., P. Crowley, J.J. Crean, C. Good, A. Mullins.

Meeting of the  General Committee  held Saturday ,16th April, 1932  , Mr. N. Hayes  in the chair, also present, Major T.P. Morgan, Messrs. T.G. Hayes, J. O’Regan, M. Twomey,  J.S. Henderson, T. O’Sullivan, D. Ross, P.J. Good, P.J. O’Connell, E. O’Grady, T. McGrath, E.J. Clarke, J. Daly, V.s., P. Crowley, J.J. Crean, C. Good, A. Mullins.

 The  minutes  of the last meeting  were  read  and signed.

On the motion  of Mr. O’Regan  seconded by  Mr. M. Twomey, Mr. Thomas Phelan of Bandon, was  elected a member.

 A letter  was read from Mr. D. Corcoran,  acknowledging  vote of condolence  on  the death  of his father, and the  Secretary  was directed to insert  same  in the minutes.

On the  motion  of Mr. P. Crowley , seconded by Mr. T.G.  Hayes,  the following  cheques  were passed :- Ml. Galvin £26-4-8  ,Cork  Corporation  £81-5-0, ditto £3-1-1, Wallace Express £5-19-11,South  of Ireland  Asphalt Co £4-1-6, S.W. Ellis £10-0—0, Roches’ Stores £3-10-10, Cork Iron &  Hardware  Co. £10-0-0

Mr.  T. O’Sullivan  was congratulated  on being elected Chairman of the County Cork  Committee of Agriculture in   place of the late  Mr. T. Corcoran. Mr. O’Sullivan expressed his thanks for the congratulation.

In connection  with the  suggested class  for ladies  hunters  at the forthcoming  Summer Show , a  discussion took  place as to the conditions  of the class  and it was  decided  to refer  same  to the next  meeting of the  show committee ,         and to  invite Major  Horgan  and Mr. O’Grady  to the Meeting  to  discuss  same.
