Meeting of the General Committee held on Saturday, 20th May, 1933.
Mr. N. Hayes in the chair, also present Miss M.E. Gubbins, Miss G. Montgomery, Commander W.R. Hodder, Major T.P. Morgan, Professor Boyle, Messrs. W. Desmond, T.D., A.H. Moore, P.J. Good, D. Ross, E.J. Clarke, J. Daly, V.S., C.V. Good, F.G. Hayes, J. Henderson, Jerh. Lehane, T. McGrath, J. O’Regan, P. Crowley, A.H. Good, T. Goold, C.A. Love, T. O’Sullivan, S. Murphy, J.B. Roberts, T.J. Was given power to purchase one.

In connection  with the report on the Greyhound  Track re reduction  of rent  it was  decided to leave  the matter  over to another  Meeting  to be  held on  27th  inst.                                                         N. Hayes

The minutes of the last meeting were read & signed.

The Chairman said he availed  of the  opportunity to congratulate  members of the Society , viz:- Messrs. E.J. Clarke, T. O’Sullivan, Alex Jeffery and R.C. Williams on their successes at the  recent Spring Show  of the Royal  Dublin  Society.

 On the motion of Mr.  A.H. Moore seconded by  Mr. A. Morrison, it was  unanimously agreed to invite President Dr. Valera, Dr. Ryan, Minister  for Cork  to  the forthcoming  Summer Show.

On the motion of  Mr.  W.A. Whitelegge ,seconded by Mr. P. Crowley  the following  cheques  as recommended by the  Finance Committee were passed :-
