The Minutes of the last Meeting were read and signed.
The following was read from the Department of the President, Dublin:-

with him and his family in their recent loss”.
The following were prepared for the two vacancies on the General Committee:-
ELECTION OF MEMBERS
ON GENERAL & FINANCE Mess Moore, Walshtown, - proposed by J. Lehane &
COMMITTEES Midleton seconded by E.J. Cussen.
Eoin O’Mahony, - proposed by E.J. Cussen
“Dunmahon”, Cork & seconded by
P.J. Halliden,
and the Chairman declared both elected.
In accordance with the rules of the Society, three members of the Finance Committee having the least number of attendances retire annually, but are eligible for re-election. The following are the members retired for this year:-
HORTICULTURAL Ald. W. Desmond, T.D., Messrs T.O’Sullivan & A.H.
COMMITTEE Moore, and, on the motion of Mr. P. Crowley, seconded by Mr. Good, they were unanimously re-elected on the Finance Committee. There was also a vacancy caused through the death of the late Mr. T. Goold, and, on the motion of Mr. T. O’Sullivan, seconded by Mr. A.H. Moore, Mr. J. O’Regan, Crookstown, was unanimously elected to fill the vacancy. On the motion of Ald. W. Desmond, seconded by Mr. T.O’Sullivan, it was decided to leave the filling of the vacancy on the Horticultural Committee caused through the death of Mr. Baker to the members of the Horticultural Committee.
CHEQUES On the motion of Mr. P. Crowley, seconded by Mr. A.H. Good, the following cheques were passed.
